The Terracota Army arrived to PragueOn 13 May 2009 the exhibition hall of the Lucerna Palace in Prague became the part of Chinese territory. The warriors from the grave of Qin Shi Huangdi, the first Emperor of China are exhibited for the first time ever. They are masterfully crafted Chinese copies of the discoveries made in the tomb of the first Emperor of China. Qin Shi Huangdi was born in 259 AD as Ying Zheng. The work of Ralph Grüneberger and Burkard Pfrenzinger is fabulous - they transferred one of the largest archaeological discovery of the 20th century to Europe. The 150 figures of terracotta soldiers were made in their original size, including the infantry, generals, lower-rank officers, archers and 8 horses; other 1000 soldiers were made in formation to 1:10 scale.

The exhibition is open every day from 10am to 6 pm, the address of the Palace is Stepanska 61, Prague 1. Entrance fee can be paid on the spot, it is 220-250 CZK per person.
